ILL NELSON is a second-generation manufacturer's representative. His father, Charlie Nelson, was very active in the electrical business in the 1950's and 1960's under the name of Norwest, Inc. Charlie Nelson then became a full time aviation equipment representative after passing the electrical business to employee Jack Sohns, who eventually started his own representative company in 1982.

Mr. Will Bennett founded the Lighting Agency in 1981 and in 1984 merged with Bill Nelson, changing the agency name to The Lighting Agency Norwest, Inc. Bill purchased The Lighting Agency Norwest, Inc from Will Bennett in 1987.

Since 1987, Bill Nelson & The Lighting Agency Norwest have been active in the lighting industry in many capacities.

• Member of the Electrical League and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America since 1987

Currently Bill Nelson & The Lighting Agency Norwest are actively pursuing and servicing the decorative lighting and commercial lighting businesses, offering expertise to distributors, showrooms, architects, electrical engineers, developers and builders.
